What Exactly Is This Thing?
What is it?
Founded in 2014, the Craft Brew Races are a series of 5k road races followed by local craft beer festivals. Runners and walkers are welcome to participate in the 5k. A 3-hour post-race beer festival is held immediately following the races, featuring 30+ breweries, local food vendors, and musicians.
Every race and festival has an early bird, regular, and onsite price based on the date of the event. Please review each individual cities’ event page for specific pricing.
- Entry into the 5k Brew Run and post-race Brew Festival featuring 30+ craft breweries
- Official pint glass (At the exit when you leave the festival)
- A finisher’s medal
- Live music
- Food vendors will be selling at each event
- Free beer sampling included with your ticket (Event staff and security reserve the right to refuse service)
There is a Brew Fest and Designated Driver ticket available for each event, so sleep in then show up for when the festival gates open at 12:30.
All races will be very close to 5 kilometers / 3.1 miles. Please remember, that while timed, the Brew Races are a celebration of each city and their craft brewing community. The courses will not be USATF certified. Walkers are welcome!
YES. This is a 21+ event, no exceptions (No babies, infants and children and pets). We do not allow anyone under 21 into either the race or festival.
YES. Yes, you will need your ID in order to receive your 21+ bracelet when you pick up your race bib prior to the race. The bracelet must be worn during the race and presented for entry into the Festival. After you have received your bracelet you will not need your ID again if you’d like to store it.
Festival Only and Designated Driver participants must present their ID at the gate of the Brew Festival following the race.
Yes. There are awards for Largest Team and Fastest Team. Fastest Team will be scored based on the top 3 times with at least one male and one female participant. Team Info
The Craft Brew Races will be held rain or shine – we only cancel in the event of severe weather that would put our participants in danger. There is always the potential for extreme or severe weather conditions. Race organizers will do as much as we can to ensure the experience is as safe as possible. In the event of severe weather, the event may be delayed as we consult public safety officers. If there is more than a short delay, if conditions persist, or the forecast calls for extreme weather, we reserve the right to alter or cancel the event. Entry fees are non-refundable. Please check the website, our Facebook page and your email before the race for any changes or cancellations.

We are not able to offer refunds. However we do offer any registered runners the opportunity to request a race credit for your full value. Once issued, these Eventbrite Credits appear as a balance of your Eventbrite account. The credit balance can then be applied to the purchase price of a new ticket to any event on our calendar within two years of the day we issue the credit.
Please email [email protected] with your full name, the email you used to register for the event, and the event name and date — and we will issue an event credit for the value of your entry. Event credits must be requested no later than 30 days prior to the event you are currently registered for.
NO. We wish! But pets are not allowed during the race or in the festival. Thank you for understanding.
NO. Both the race and festival are strictly a 21+ events. No exceptions. Strollers are not permitted in the race or at the festival.
Yes. Each event will be capped at 2,000 people to ensure a quality experience for all participants.
Yes. All races will feature individual athlete chip timing and results will be posted on this website and Facebook page following the event.
Yes. The top three male and female overall finishers will receive a Craft Brew Races branded award at each event midway through the festival. There are no age group awards.

Yes. Absolutely! Sign up to be a volunteer at any Brew Race venue to help with race registration and/or course marshalling and as soon as the run is complete join your running buddies at the festival! All volunteers get a T-shirt. Space is limited! [email protected] for more information.
No. There will be plenty of Craft Brew Race shirts and merchandise onsite for sale. All participants do receive the following with their race entry:

Yes. In addition to the standard Designated Driver ticket we now offer a ticket option that allows participants to run the 5k and then attend the post-race festival with a clearly marked, non-drinking Designated Driver bracelet.
