Good Morning! We are closely monitoring the weather forecast this morning. There is a major front passing through this AM with severe thunderstorms. We anticipate the worst of the storms to pass by 10:30 AM, with scattered rain and cloudy skies following the rest of the day.
As always, our primary concern is the safety of our event participants, volunteers, vendors and staff. And in the event of severe weather later this morning and early afternoon, we will consult with local officials and determine whether a delay, or cancellation is necessary.

Location: Edgewood Park (map) | Time: Saturday, 10:00 a.m. – 11:45 a.m.
It is strongly recommended that all runners arrive early to registration to alleviate race day delays.
NOTE: There is NO Onsite registration or pick-up at Denali on Friday this year.
There is always the potential for extreme or severe weather conditions such as thunderstorms. Race organizers will do as much as we can to ensure the experience is as safe as possible. In the event of severe weather, the race and/or festival may be delayed as event officials consult public safety officers. If there is more than a short delay, if conditions persist, or the forecast calls for extreme weather, race officials reserve the right to alter or cancel the race and/or festival. Entry fees are non-refundable. Please check the website, our Facebook page and your email before the race for any changes or cancellations.
There is NO PARKING available at the Festival at Edgewood Park. Please park at the Souther Connecticut State University lots 8 & 9 off of Farnham Ave (map). Signs will direct participants from parking to the festival. Please arrive early as this is a short walk from registration and bib-pick up.
ALL ticket holders need to bring an ID in order to receive their 21+ bracelet when they pick up their race bib prior to the race. The bracelet must be worn during the race and presented for entry into the Festival. Festival Only and Designated Driver participants must present their ID and their Eventbrite ticket at the gate of the Brew Festival at 12:30 PM, following the race for access to the festival.
Food vendors will be onsite selling, so cash is also recommended.
The Craft Brew Races urge all attendees to enjoy their time responsibly. We recommend participants designate a sober driver or arrange transportation. We are happy to offer designated driver tickets whereupon they can enjoy the festivals’ great atmosphere, food and live music and offer you a safe ride home.
The New Haven Craft Brew Race course is a shaded, tree lined run (or walk!) through Edgewood Park. The run starts in the Northwest corner of the Park and heads south, briefly leaves the park into the Edgewood neighborhood and past the Yale Bowl before reentering the park and a fast finish next to the Coogan Pavilion.
Sign up to be a volunteer at any Brew Race venue to help with race registration and/or course marshalling and as soon as the run is complete join your running buddies at the festival! All volunteers get a T-shirt AND entry to the Brew Fest. Space is limited! Email us for more information at email@example.com.
Breweries announced regularly. 30+ breweries at each event.
The Westville Village Renaissance Alliance is the charitable beneficiary of the New Haven Craft Brew Races. We proudly donate a portion of all proceeds to The Alliance.
